  1. Prepare. Yes, even though you have already packed your properties and items, you still have to make preparations prior to moving day itself. Make sure that you yourself have enough energy on the day itself so that you can be alert and give moving help to your moving service guys.
  2. Load your stuff. Supervise the loading of your properties, from the furniture to the jewelries. Furniture moving is sensitive, as well as making sure that your other expensive items, such as jewelries. For this kind of things, you can bring them yourself so that they will not get lost. Make sure that you keep track of what boxes have already been loaded in the moving truck, and make sure that each box is unloaded when you get to your new home.

  4. Relax. You would probably get to your new home before your stuff, so while the unloading has not begun yet, you can take your time and relax in your empty house.
  5. Be prepared with your payment. When the moving truck comes, make sure that you have already prepared tour money order or cashier’s check to give to the driver.
  6. Start unpacking. It is important for you to be as productive as you can be. Gather everyone for an unpacking orientation, and organize how you can unload your stuff. Make sure that everyone knows where to find the item that they are looking for. After that, you are all ready to live in your new home!
