3. Estimate types and options in pricing. Talking to different moving companies would give you an idea about the different estimates and pricing types they offer. This way, you would have more choices in getting the right moving service for your home.
4. Delivery schedule. This information would test the offer of a moving company. If they say that they can move your things in a day, then it is likely that they are giving you unrealistic ideas. Most moving services can move your things in a couple of days.
5. References. You can ask for people around your area who have availed of their services. The more references they are able to give, the more likely that they are a good moving company.
6. Handling fragile items. A good moving service should have provisions for special items like a grand piano, or a delicate painting. Although they may charge you extra, the money that you would spend on protecting your precious items would be worth it.
